Hatay, the place where religions meet

Safe Alanya and Turkey experiences invite on a new exciting tour that goes to Hatay, (Antiochia) the place where the religions meet.

The tour lasts for 4 days and there are many exciting sights along the way

NB! Remember to have breakfast at home before we drive from Alanya.

Tour program
Day 1
We drive from Alanya at. 08: 30 and directly to the village of Kaledran, where we take a break with great views towards the sea and the village. Then the tour continues to Anamur and Anamurium borgen. The castle is located right by the port and built by Selcjuk Turks. The castle has been restored for many years, but is now open for visits.

We then take lunch at a rataurant ca.3 mil away from Silifke . It is the city where one can take the ferry across to Cyprus. The lunch is open buffet and here each pays separately.

The next stop will be at Cennet and Cehennem sink holes (hell and Paradise sink holes). The place has an exciting history. The sink holes are quite deep and only one of them can be visited (Hell).

The last stop will be at the hotel in the metropolis Adana. The city is one of the major cities in Turkey and has over 1 million inhabitants.. We will spend the night in a hotel located in the city center. We check into the hotel and we deliver our passport to the reception at check-in. We have dinner together in the restaurant in the evening.

Day 2
We will visit two places in Adana. First, the Central Mosque is located directly on the river and which has 6 towers. Then we go to the ancient Roman 14 hole bridge. We eat our lunch before we drive on to Hatay or Antiochia. We check into the hotel in Hatay in the afternoon approx. At.18:00. We follow the same procedure as before at check-in.

Day 3
This day will be the most exciting day of the whole trip, because during the day we will visit several magnificent sights. Hatay is a cosmopolitan city and here live several ethnic groups belonging to different religion,cultures... Here are Arabs,Kurds,Turks,Christians,Jews and Muslims…

The city was established about. 330 f.kr. and have an exciting story to tell.

The city has been the site of many critical and exciting experiences throughout history. Our guide Mehmet Øzdemir will tell as we visit the different places.

Walking tour and shopping in the city.

Day 4
We check out from the hotel after breakfast and start our return trip to Alanya. It's a long trip and it takes about. 12 hours to drive.(including breaks). After several days of great adventures, it will be simply delicious to relax on the return trip. We stop for lunch along the way.

The trip costs 330 euros per pers. and the price includes transport, entrances,breakfast and dinner in the hotel, Norwegian speaking guide.

The price does not include lunch,personal needs and drinks.

NB! Some rooms cost 15 euros extra per night.
